Happy Fathers' Day!

Happy Fathers' Day to my sweet Daddy (Bobby), my super father-in-law (GPapa) and of course to my wonderful husband! My babies are so blessed to have you in their lives!
We had a fun time today...after church we went to my parents and spent the afternoon. Carsyn played and played with her cooperating cousin Elayna (and even took an unexpected "dip" in the swimming pool...she was fine and Wade was soaked after going in after her! She held her breath like a pro and tried to get to the side of the pool....thank goodness! Accidents can happen soooo quickly!!) and I learned how to sew! Yay! I've been wanting my mama to teach me and today we just decided to do it! The girls will be wearing their first mommy-made bloomers on/around the 4th of July! If they are crooked, just don't tell me! :-)

Carsyn funnies....

The above picture is a true Carsyn moment...she is wearing powder from her makeup kit! Yes, my baby girl LOVES makeup!! She thinks she looks beautiful...and well, I totally agree!


I just wanted to share a couple of Carsyn-isms from the past days...she is always coming up with some of the funniest things (I love her little three year old mind!)...

• When asked what her daddy does for a job she calmly replied, "He talks on the phone"...I knew Wade stays on his phone too much!!


• She got in trouble for getting lip gloss on the ottoman earlier---that's why you don't give colored lipstick to a three year old, but I digress....anyway, she disappeared and when I asked her why she was hiding she states, " I wasn't hiding, I was praying"!


• A little boy at the beach says, "You aren't as old as I am. I'm old, I'm five"...without missing a beat Carsyn says, "Well, I'll be five in seven months!" WHAT?

Okay, so it is almost midnight and that is all I can think of for now! When I labled this post I know I had at least two more stories! Oh well....maybe you will get to enjoy them another night!

Teething Baby....

OMGoodness...can you believe I'm posting two blogs in one day...wow, I'm even impressed!!!

So, just had to let everyone know the exciting news that Camryn's first tooth has broken through her precious baby gums and it is absolutely driving her insane! She gets so mad and I can tell she is terribly irritated! She is sleeping soundly as of now though with a nice "shot" of Tylenol!

I can't imagine this sweet baby with teeth! Ugh, they grow up tooooo fast!

Where have we been????

Back by popular demand....

so sorry I haven't updated in a whole THREE weeks! See, never say I didn't warn anyone at how horrible I would be at "having" a blog....oh well....so, post number four....here goes:

We returned from a four day trip to the beach last Wednesday and her getting back on the road in the morning for another trip...this one is courtesy of Shelby County Schools and Wade has meetings until around 11 am everyday...not too bad!

We had lots of fun on beach trip number one. Carsyn LOVES swimming, yay! Her swimming lessons proved worth it when she happily jumped into the water and went under with no complaints. Camryn also enjoyed the water...well, for about 10 minutes but that is about all she tolerates doing anything these days.

So, enjoy a the above few beach pictures (I obviously need a blog-tutororial because this is the only way I know how to post pics....hello, Shelly, where are ya?)....I'm hoping our next trip brings back more/better pictures (Grammy is a professional-unprofessional photog)....
